House Dance
Riaan Oosthuizen

House music is devoted to inclusion, housing all those with a body and a willingness to move it. This style of electronic music came from Chicago in the 80’s and is widely heard today on the radio, in music videos, festivals, urban events and concerts. Like every type of music, house music also has a dance.

Join us for a beginner friendly foundations class covering the three components of house dancing: footwork, jacking and lofting. This is a perfect class for anyone who enjoys social dancing, music festivals, and/or seeking to grow body awareness and ability to freestyle through feeling a beat.
